i miss ernest!

it's soo late already. and i'm supposed to make good use of my sleeping time to rest. yet i'm here to blog. lol. slogging our guts out to work now. so by new year, we'll have enough or more than enough income to shop for new year clothings!! talking about this, just met up with girlfriends after my tiring camp. ran from khatib to sembawang to admiralty to yi shun. it's just to and fro.

i apologise for being late peeps! and making both of you wait so long. dined at breeks cafe. my sandwich taste fine. my dessert too. haha. most importantly, the time spent together with GIRLFRIENDS!! discussed about our "no live" lives now. i totally agree with wan xin! eat, sleep, bath, work. nothing else. lol.

but i guess i enjoy working. at least i don't do dead work and don't dread going to work. i guess the only negative stuff which can be covered up is the long duration of trip to and fro orchard. but music entertains me. so i think i'm fine.

went to work at dad's place. was a last minute decision as they were shorthanded. had a hard time squeezing through the crowd yesterday on my way home. but i guess that's christmas in the city! took MRT home instead of bus as they were many road blockades. at least i have a little income now. haha. and i realised something. all 3 of us, girlfriends were working yesterday. XD no life huh? BUT TODAY IS FUN DAY!! BBBBB!

so dumb! i make history repeat itself. didn't manage to wake up to pick up ernest's calls just before he leave for malaysia. what a failure i am! T.T but i was super overjoyed just now cause he secretly used his dad's phone to message me! XDXD but good thing is that he'll be back on christmas eve!! which means he can celebrate the once in a year christmas with me!!! HEHE! remember our plans and proposals!

ok. what's up with me these days. went for the children's camp at grace orchard church located at boon lay. the kids are simple and adorable. haha. it was fun interaction time! made me reminisce my childhood times. i guess the kids nowadays don't have as many childhood memories as us. =(

went up to the stage for a bible recital session today. guess it was successful. was having the jitters and felt really nervous initially. after all, it was my first time. and i didn't have a "rehearsal". but really thank God. i think i did quite well. as commented by mummy and daddy. hehe. =) i take it as a valuable learning process to serve God.

went out with sisters and jian hui cousin yesterday! haha. oh my.. been soooo long since we last met. we're always soooo happy together~~ haha. arcade, neoprints, walking around aimlessly, picnicking in the bus. filled with laughter. that's what cousins are for! hope to meet up with you soon darling!!

hope that one day everyone will wake up to their senses and realise the importance of family.

i just took off my braces. but with invisible retainers, at the back of my teeth. COOL! haha. and i have to be determined to put on extra retainers every night.

talked to priscilla NUPENGYOU on the phone on the day i came back from shanghai. goodness. i really miss her! haha. thank you NUPENGYOU!

going to help out at a children's camp tomorrow! haha. really excited! making the children happy really does puts a smile on my face too! had a short meeting today. dry run through of the programmes and then making of name tags and getting the ingredients needed for the games in charged. haha. XD i'm sure they'll have LOADS OF FUN tomorrow! but gotta wake up real early.

i'm feeling so af1284t3rgbfeu923y4 now. thanks to my physical and emotional weakness. back to reality. back from shanghai for so many days yet i'm so lazy to post.

just gonna make some general comments. the weather there was obviously much cooler than singapore's one. the weather was bitterly cold for the first 2 days. but much easier to adapt after the trial period of 2 days. the food there was almost the same everyday. so we had to eat it to fill up our stomachs on such a cold weather.

shanghai is quite a modernised province in china. or should i say the most modernised one? you get to see tall buildings and people dressed in very "modern" clothings in the city area. and i can remember clearly this very vintage building which is a hotel. it is specially made this way. and there's a live performance on the garden balcony. a saxophone performance to be exact. i really enjoy such performances. playing some oldies. the feeling is kinda romantic. if only.. your loved one was there with you. i'm sure the effect will be much better. =)

of course! we all had lots of fun together. it is really difficult to get everyone together to go out and relax or play in singapore. cause everybody will be busy with either school or work. so it's quality time spent together. and there's a change of tour guides everyday, like changing clothes everyday. cause we went to many other provinces other than shanghai. let me think... wu xi, shanghai, nan jing, su zhou, hang zhou.

the only bad thing about this trip i think, was the many lectures that we all had practically everyday. lectures to buy jade, tea pots, tea leaves, pearl etc. never ending. but we were all wise. as in we kept bargaining. and will never buy it if the price doesn't meet our demanded price. so it's the "either take it or leave it" attitude.

shopping day on the second last day! it was free and easy. but i didn't look very much forward to it cause it's all winter clothings that i can get. so decided to look for souvenirs instead. took a very fast train from a station some where near our hotel to the heart of the city as known as their orchard road. but of course, the things there were all branded and expensive. bought some clothings and a bag. mummy was GREAT! she bought 4 bags in a go. bag spree. but those bags were really nice. 1 of them was for me. =)

i think that's all i wanna say about the trip.

IT'S ONLY 15 DEGREE CELSIUS!! TODAY IS SHOPPING DAY!! WE'LL BE TAKING A TRAIN TO NAN JING ROAD!! I'M ONLY HALF BROKE SO I STILL CAN BUY SOUVENIRS FOR ALL MY LOVELY ONES!! WAHAHAHAHA!! OKOK!
