Taiwan Trip, Planning in progress!

Ok so I've been busy thinking and planning the 11-days TW trip together with the girls as well as keith.
11 days is really a lot, no joke and we gotta spread out our daily activities properly so as to ensure that we have enough time for each activity and at the same time we do not tire ourselves out.
They always say that planning a trip yourself and customizing it is more fun than going on tour.
Yep, I agree to a certain extent.. But it's challenging as well cause there are so many factors to consider.
Cost, location, time, convenience, feasibility etc.
Have been reading reviews online and it seems like it's not very reliable to do online booking for our accommodation so I guess it's better if we do a verification thereafter or just call them.
It really feels like a big project work, HAHA! But of course not school-related but more of fun and leisure.
I guess it's a whole new experience when you plan your own trip and sometimes get lost some where in a foreign island and try to get outta the situation using your navigation skills, technical skills, interpersonal skills (Chinese A1 is me), and street smart skills.
HAHA I tell you it's so difficult to draft out an email to converse with the people over there for enquiries. And I'm really impressed with LW's chinese communication skills. (Y) Zai.

So the initial plan was just to visit 2 states which is Taipei and Taichung.
We've decided our accommodation which is the Taipei Backpackers apartment. =)
After asking her for recommendations, she said that we should try going to maybe Tainan instead of Taichung as the places of attractions in Taichung can be done in Taipei and the ones in Taipei are more attractive.
But the distance is a concern to us, cause it's all the way at the other end of TW, very near to Kaohsiung already. And we still have to travel back to Taoyuan Airport on our last day.
So, our next alternative is Hualien.
But it really depends on the cost and accessibility of this state!
Hope to stay in their 名宿!
Hualien Sunrise Minsu.
It's a themed kinda cottage stay?
I'm not too sure but just from quoting from what I heard.

Met up with LW and Char for jogging today at 10am.
We went to Gombak Stadium to realise that it has been booked by the German European School for their sports day. ZZZ! Plan failed.
But I wasn't too upset/ disappointed because I was told that with my blotched up face (After exfoliation from facial), I have to take extra care of my face and prevent from sunlight (as it may cause scars on my pimple marks). WOW, sounds scary right? =/
Yep so I suggested to LW that we go have Macs breakfast and discuss our itinerary thereafter.
Quite satisfied cause we already came out with our Day 1-7 itinerary in Taipei itself and how to get around using the Metro.
All thanks to past tour experiences from bloggers/related people whom we know.
We're able to plan our trip better, and have a better control over time management.
WEEE and we've made our 30% deposit to Taipei Backpackers for our 8-days in Taipei.
The thing that I really like about this hostel is that the owner is very friendly and sincere by giving us lots of recommendations and tips regarding places to go and how to go there. ^^
Hope we get at least a 2-levels room for our 4-bedder!
But ok la don't place too high expectations first to avoid disappointments!

Went for facial yesterday after like 6 months and my face now has obvious red marks.
Wonder when will they recover fully, just hope it will asap! ><
I'll blog more often since it's hols now.
Was hesitating to look for a job cause of the date clashes with my TW trip and with QH's job offer and etc.
I really really pray hard that I can get into at least a local uni, although I know that my chances are as good as nil.

Been going out these few days, $$ depleting very quickly. =S
Needa earn $$ soon to finance my TW trip!

On Saturday, finally met up with Yuwei and Huazhong for dinner + catch-up session!! ^^
 HZ's fish + peri-peri chicken!

Initially I thought it would be awkward meeting the both of them after so long, but honestly I didn't feel awkward at all! Instead I've enjoyed myself so much talking and camwhoring with them!!
Thank you so much, for organizing this meetup and making it all so awesome!

On sunday, met up with Pris, Fiona, Marcus, QH, HJ, Joel, Bryan & ZY to celebrate 3 of the March babies birthday ^^
So we went to Katong for lunch at Sushi Tei! I tried the Nabeyaki udon (sounds like some bad words, but tasted VERY good with eggs inside!)
Went for Kbox afterwards at Scape! Simply cause Teo Heng @ Katong is full, no more rooms and we didn't book the room before hand.
The bus trip to town was fast yet slow. Fast cause the route is short, slow because the bus driver was driving at a speed of like 50km/h.
Ok, so with the use of 3 Kala cards we managed to share and split the cost for the remaining 5 of us at Kbox.
With only < 2 hours, we made full use of the time and sang our hearts out. HAHAHA DAMN FUN LAAAA!
Esp singing "I don't wanna miss a thing", and pris and qh were able to bring up the atmosphere! ^^

Okok, I think I shall end the very long and outdated post here. Thanks for reading!
