Special Mention for the day: HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY ONIICHAN, MEGUMI, ANG KAI YANG!!
The word "obesity" comes into my head right now.
Had so many different heavy meals today that I feel so full now and the bad thing is, it is almost time to sleep.
Ok let's start from the morning.
Went to Bukit Timah Reserve for mountain climbing with everyone except Mavis as she would not be able to make it in time for her tuition if she had follow us.
And so we went through some catchment path or some thing like that (I can't really remember the name), to reach to the peak.
Did our warm-ups, descended and went to Binjai Park for our brunch.
Picked Mavis from home before going for brunch.
MALAY FOODDDDD! Unhealthy but as nice as ever!
As usual, the Nasi Lemak was sold out and we had to settle for rice and other dishes. However, it still tasted as palatable!
Sent Mavis for tuition and went to Sheng Siong for grocery shopping as well as preparing for our picnic later in the afternoon.
I suggested salad. I really like eating salad recently. Not too sure what's with the recent craving but it really taste nice and makes me feel good from eating some thing so healthy (minus the coleslaw sauce as well as bacon bits).
It was fun doing grocery shopping with Marilyn. Cause we pick up random things and she bought some rose apples to try just because she finds it sweet smelling. =_=
So I recommended her some chikus. LOL!
Oh yea, it feels funny to go to my workplace but not working on that day. But actually it feels kinda not bad. Hehe.
I forgot how long we took to buy all our groceries but I know that by the time we left, it was about time to fetch Mavis from her tuition. So we spent roughly an hour plus close to two?
Went back home for a short break before leaving for Marina Barrage.
I thought of studying but was totally turned off to do so.
I told myself I HAVE TO study tomorrow after church.
Therefore, I decided to take a nap.
Slept for an hour or so, with my mind filled with many things.
Had a small nightmare. =_=
Woke up, aunty was preparing the salad ingredients already and I had no chance to help at all cause it was almost done.
Took a quick bath, packed up and off we went!
Mummy have always wanted to bring us to Beach Road to eat the very nice Fish Beehoon. That's the 2nd heavy meal of the day.
I guess it differs from the normal Fish soup because it tastes more traditional and the ingredients added into the soup were different from the usual ones selling in food courts. It was a plus point.
Mavis' strong liking for noodles enabled her to finish 1 bowl by herself.
Left for Marina Barrage. So many road diversions every where due to the NDP preview.
But we got ourselves a good spot where we started our picnic.
FINALLY I WAS ABLE TO EAT MY LONG-AWAITED salad. =)=)=)
Pictures speak a thousand words.
Thought of many "if onlys".
But at the end of the day, I realised that they are only "if onlys" and quite impossible for these things to happen.
So I will just constantly remind myself that I will be fine.
And stop questioning myself why do I still have the urge to do certain things. It is really stupid. And stop giving myself so much pressure.
Only then, I will learn to grow up.
Ah forget it, I must be too tired that I start typing nonsense.
Good night.
