happy new year everybody! woo. i'm finally back from indonesia. the food there was superb or sedap! pempek (fishcakes) was nice, teh botol and fruit tea were nice, and the things there were cheap. bought many pirated ds games and ps2 games over there. although a bit outdated but who cares! as long as it's fun. and 1 game costs only s'pore dollar $1. haha. XD so our cousin just ask us to grab and go. doesn't matter if the game isn't fun. the time there is 1 hour slower than singapore so our flight back to s'pore was really late last night. reached around 12.30 and slept at 3 in the morning. not 4 in the morning. =X lame. and it was sort of a reunion because we went over and my cousins came back for holiday from their studies overseas. it was a happy occasion i suppose? and my grandma were really happy. she looked ok to me. younger than her expected age. i really miss her a lot. although she seem to love my elder sis more. but still, i love her as much. she chatted with us. still remember that when i was young she came over to our house to stay and take care of us. sang lullabies and told us bedtime stories to make us fall asleep. but now, her legs are very weak and she can only stay at home. =( actually all of them asked us to stay for new year and don't come back to s'pore first. but it is impossible as daddy and mummy will have to work while we have to study. and all of them were very hospital towards us. kept treating us to this and that. taking plenty of food for us. but the bad thing was that when i went there, my stomach was upset. didn't had much appetite to eat. whenever i eat, i feel nauseous. and if i don't eat i'm so hungry. oh my! bad la! and i wanted to enjoy the food there. ZZZ! i really miss all of them there. all the pak meis & su meis (aunts) and susu & pak pak (uncles). gugu dai, popo, pak niap, susu go, pak pak, gugu li, kor kor jeffry everybody. i really miss them. the first two nights, we were supposed to stay at our first uncle's house which is kor kor jeffry's house. but they went out of jakarta and they didn't pass the key to the maids as they couldn't be trusted. =X so pak mei arranged for us to study at a bungalow which is not in pluit. it's her brother's daughter house in future. it was new and no one has stayed there before. oh my. it was so big and nice with a swimming pool. and we went swimming the first morning. and on christmas eve, they came over to the bungalow to barbeque. but i couldn't eat much as i was having a bad stomach! ARGH! and i only had my cup noodles for my dinner. i had to wait for all the guests to go before i eat it as it was rude to eat it in front of all of them. they will be thinking eh hello, we have good food here and you would rather eat that cup noodles of yours?! haha. XD i ws so very hungry. tried to look for food that i can eat. ate corn. quite nice. it was buttery, sweet and hot! oh my. nice la! and my cup noodles is curry chicken flavour but due to my dumb stomach, i couldn't put in the curry seasoning or i'll have to visit the toilet more often. and it was so plain! BLEAH! so disgusting. it became chicken flavour. GOOODNESS! and we were watching fear factor in the room together when i was having my so called dinner. good ar. and they always have this section where they'll have to gobble up disgusting stuff. and i saw them drinking rotten milk and everything. which made me totally lose my appetite! EWW! and i turned away from the tv and stupid marilyn turned the volume louder! what an ass!


the second day was christmas eve. and i really miss him. couldn't stand it. so asked for mummy's permission to sms him a message. =) and she allowed me to do so. =X we went to mangga dua to shop around. so very crowded due to the christmas season. it looked like bugis street to me. bought nothing much. my sister got a spongebob poker card set to add up to her collection. and she wanted to look for the spongebob ice cream but couldn't find it. it is always out of stock. high in demand i think. haha. XD and she was kinda disappointed. bought some discs and went back for the barbeque that i mentioned earlier on.


the third day we went to my first uncle house to stay for the night. met kor kor jeffry. he was still the same. haha. XD and he actually remember my bad habit which i have when i was young. which is tip toeing wherever i go. haha. XD i think it was probably coz i thought that walking that way makes me feel more confident. XD childish. kor kor jeffry have some love birds which are all so colourful and nice. and we talked about jeffry's marriage. asked him when was it going to be and we'll go back to indonesia to attend it. and his mum, my aunt, kept persuading us to stay longer and come back again for a longer period of time like 1 month during our holidays next year? oh my. that will be so tiring for us. and me and my sis have our major as and os to take next year. can't go away during the june holidays but maybe the november & december holidays. but i hope to stay in s'pore. as my christmas wish this year is to spend every christmas with him. haha. XD greedy. she was really friendly. and we had communication problems due to the different languages that we use. but i could understand her speaking in indo and she could also understand me speaking in chinese. and i learnt to speak indo there. at least the basics? LOL. XD and kor kor jeffry intended to bring us for ice-skating but time didn't allow. went for seafood lunch but i could only watch and drool. =( went to visit popo and gugu li. she treated us to soto for dinner. finally something soupy which i can eat. i like it! the fourth day, we set off to puncak, somewhere high up near the mountains where it was very cold but nice! my uncle's friend lent his villa to us for 2 nights. the place was nice. don't look like jakarta to me but some western countries. the trip there took such a long time. slept in the car. reached there, settle down. and our cousins started playing cards with us. steven, fiona and christine. fiona was borned on the same day, same month and same year but she look so small sized as compared to me. and angela and hans came over too. they are both hyper active but very cute. XD and their parents came over to stay after their work and reached only at the midnight. was amazed that they could find their way up as it was foggy and dark. bought dinner nearby and went to the supermarket to get food stuff.


the next morning, had horse riding. the kids were all soo excited about it. but i think the duration of horse riding was too long that i had a bit of horse sick. not car sick. LOL. and the horse keeper made my horse ran. that was worse! and i pity the horse. so tired after carrying all of us on their backs. but that's how they earn a living. sorry horses. =( had rawon (beef stew soup) for lunch. hot and nice! mummy told us that the night before, the wind was very strong and was howling so loudly that they couldn't get to sleep. but i was sleeping like a log so i didn't feel anything. we slacked till afternoon and set off to bandung. they said that it was a shopping paradise but the trip there was super duper long. wasted one whole afternoon. reached there around evening. stopped by at a roadside store and had our light meal as everybody were hungry already. after that, they brought us to a factory outlet. bought many things from there and went for our late dinner nearby. ate at suharti ayam goreng (fried chicken) that made me regain my appetite. and i could eat more. the stomach upset thing ruined my fatty plan! ZZZ. the crisp and tenderness of the chicken tempted me to eat more. haha. XD and i simply couldn't resist. sat a 2 hour ride back to our villa and another day gone.


the last day of staying in the villa. went off earlier. planned to go another place to shop but didn't as pak mei was having a bad headache. so we just went back straight to jakarta. shopped around at megamal. a mall in pluit. bought my cny clothes and my wedding clothes. yay! i don't need to worry anymore. but the wedding is being postponed. boring! no mood already. bought some dunkin' donuts and munched it while walking around. bought some games and controller as my controllers were faulty. mum and dad went for a hair wash and massage while we walk around to look for gifts. and we bargained like mad for the games and controllers. actually it was my mum who helped us. XD the seller and my mum spoke in different languages. lol. so dumb. and my mum spoke in hokkien. she too used to it. and we headed home. kor kor jeffry bought some supper for us.


the last day, went to visit cai ying gu gu. her house was big too. she gave us 2 big packets of sweets. so sweet. then went for frog leg lunch with them. nice. but too much rice. ZZZ. my parents love frog leg. especially my mum. XD it was fried one. damn nice. and after that went to take our luggages and went shopping again at mangga dua. not as many people already. but all the shops were closing. haha. XD their working hours is from 10-5. and we talked a lot with pak mei and jeffry. pak mei love dogs. but couldn't have them. as the maids in indo wouldn't want to work in a house with dogs and jeffry had sensitive nose which doesn't enable him to keep furry pets. =( and we went to buy more games and rushed back to granny's house for dinner and they bid us farewell. hugged and kissed all of them farewell. i will really miss them. and i almost cried. and pak mei kept hugging me. i think she really misses her daughter jiji nini. hmm. see all of you soon. we'll go back again most probably next year after our exams. maybe with mich this time? for our shopping trip! and my sis and her friends too. XD and i used my daddy's laptop in the airport for awhile. chatted with mich awhile then went for boarding. bought some souvenirs too. =) i love jakarta! more pics will be uploaded soon!

wah. so fast. tomorrow flying off to indonesia already! ZZZ. it's an evening flight so yay! we can skip a day. this time will be going there for about a week which is longer as compared to the last time we went there. and mum says that the duration of the flight is merely 2 hrs. haha. so that means we board the aeroplane catch a nap, wake up and then we'll reach. =) and our luggage won't be so full. because it's only rainy season over there and not winter! megan came over to stay at our house for 3 days 2 nights from wednesday to yesterday. she came over to accompany my lil sis. the two of them are really funny. always quarrel over small little stuffs and did not want to "friend" each other but after awhile, they'll be playing with each other again. kids are like that. and on thursday, daddy and mummy brought all of us to some farms in singapore. went to fish farm and goat farm. went to see all the fishes and goats. although it was raining, but we had fun as the farms have shelters. drove past lim chu kang and neo tiew road. it was kinda eerie and scary. the roads seem like nobody would go there. and it was like those kind of forest tracks. i'm so surprised that there are bus services there. haha. XD and my dad scared us by asking us if we dared to wait for buses there in the night. hello! it's obvious NO! haha. XD and mummy bought goat milk which was vomit-inducing. EWW! we all felt nauseous after drinking it. there's this very strong smell in the milk which sucks. couldn't stand it. ZZZ.


had a.maths tuition yesterday. went out with ernest to get snacks and tidbits to be brought o'seas to munch on when i'm bored. i get hungry easily this few days. damn! i've made my appetite bigger during the holidays. and i start to eat a lot of junk food. must learn to control already. very unhealthy! met him at je then we went to imm giant. i treated him like my maid! ask him to carry the basket and take this and that for me. LOL. i'm such a bully. and we got some finger food to munch on before he send me for tuition. i'll really miss him when i go indonesia. wait for me ok? haha. and michelle was sick yesterday! i think she ate something wrong the day before. bad bad! let's hope she's better today. take care alright darling? hehe. merry christmas everybody! although i won't be here. =(

oh no! holidays are gonna end in about 2 weeks time but i still haven't completed at least one-third of the holiday assignments. BORING! but i tried to do some just now. =) and next week is CHRISTMAS! but i will be in indonesia. and darling michelle scolded me for not telling her earlier so that she can make a trip there together with her mum so we can go shopping together. XD i'm so sorry darling! wait for me to come back ok? and i went for the grace orchard's children camp which took place yesterday and the day before. it was not an overnight camp so it won't be so tiring for everybody. but me and my sis will have to wake up early in the morning and travel all the way to boon lay. ZZZ. but it's worth it. the kids there are so naive. and really adorable. i'm one of the teacher in charge for one of the group which is joy! haha. XD the first day, everybody was so quiet and didn't dare to talk much. i heard that there were many newcomers thats why all of them were so quiet and shy. my sister was in charge of patience group. and she told the kids in the group to be patient with everything. so one of the small girl asked, "teacher, didn't you say that we have to be patient with everything? then must i also bear with it when i really need the toilet urgently?" how naive! haha. XD and a small boy named ming wei, leved to sing songs in a very high pitch. and he sang the christmas carol so high that he went off-pitched and still find it very nice. he was very loud too! all of them were very participative in the games. and there was this extremely naughty boy or maybe should i say that he's hyper active? but i still managed to keep him under control. actually he was okay. just a bit too active. ytd was the second day and the last day of the camp. had tuition at 4 so i went off at 3. i really couldn't bear to leave the kids. so after tuition i rushed back to boon lay again to say goodbye to them! they were very happy after receiving the presents from the funfair, the christmas party and everything. =)and although my team came in last for the overall camp, they were still happy and i encouraged all of them to come for the camp next year! haha. XD i will really miss them! take care all of you and hope to see all of you again next year! watched finish men don't cry. stupid ending! but still nice! tata.
