Ok, would like to talk a bit more about Wang Leehom's concert.
We managed to get seats which were close to the stage although we were sitting at the side.
His starting was really filled with anticipation and his entrance was simply ASTOUNDINGGG! With his red suit and his tank woahhhh.
Initially we thought he was gonna jump out from the bottom of the centre stage.
He still look as good as ever, flawless skin, handsome face, tall and lean, charismatic. He doesn't even look like he's in his 30s.
His singing skills were even more impressive. You know, like they say, to check out if a singer really make up to the mark and possess substance, you have to listen to his/her live. And I was really really impressed and blown away.
He was able to maintain his stamina throughout the whole 2 and a half hours. Without any guest appearance, he took the stage with a one man show. There were only a few intermissions which showed his past experience on screen and his community involvement in Africa. Which shows that he really care about people living in poverty and wish to contribute back to the society with the fame and fortune he has attained.
When it came to his ballads (slow and sad songs), it was so packed with emotions that me and NPY developed goosebumps.
Was so excited when it came to the part where he interacted with his fans/audience in the stadium, but we weren't fortunate enough to see him upclose and shake his hands! Cause the stadium was so big and was packed with over thousands of fans.
The animation and his fighting portion was remarkable.
Towards the end, his sincerity was felt when he tried to cover all his songs which were worth 17 years of music works.
His dance, his hard work, the pursuit of his dream, his musical talent (he played so many instruments during his concert), how much he sacrificed just to pursue his dream as well as fame and fortune.
During his speech, he told us that he've really been through a lot and haven't really settle down yet since he's always flying around. And that he can count the number of times he have had dinner with his family in a year with just 1 hand. (that's like 5 times or less)
All these just made me appreciate and admire him more as a music-man..
And of course, every concert has an ending. Was so sad to bid him goodbye. His encore was a
combination of "Kiss Goodbye" and "火力全开".
