Intensive week of studying.

Ahhhh, oh my goodness really wish that I can fast forward to next week Wednesday 4:30pm where all my studying woes will come to an end.

Ok so online retail therapy have been helping quite a bit on my distressing part and the fact that I am allowed to go on a graduation trip to TW highly motivates me to study damn hard for my finals.

Ok so here's a checklist of how much I've busted.

Just last week I've gotten:

1. Freshlook Coloured Contact Lenses (for 2 months) which costs $48

2. Contact Lens Solution (at a promotional price) which costs $25

3. A cute contact lens holder for travel which costs $3.00

4. A "I smurff you!" hot pink with an apple shape cover which costs $7.90

5. A new Iphone denim cover which costs $8

6. And what not. I'll talk more about it if I remember.

Freshlook Coloured Contact Lens

Ok so this is not an impulse decision, I've thought of it for quite long and have always wanted to try something different, something new and that is coloured contacts!

My main concerns are whether I'll look natural in them and the comfort of the lenses that I'm gonna invest in.

So basically, I've been reading reviews upon reviews, blog hop on famous bloggers such as Xiaxue and Bong Qiuqiu, asked my friends who are wearing or have tried wearing coloured contacts such as Ningwei, Priscilla and Michelle, went to Google image on the different colours available, and even went to the specific websites of the different brands of cosmetic lenses.

So because I just wanted to try it out for fun, I thought of buying from the online shop recommended by XX which is Honey Color.

But then again, I  read about news where consumers get infected eyes from wearing lenses bought online and that kinda scared me.

So I decided to be a loyal customer and go back to Alan Optics to buy from them! And between Freshlook and Freshkon, although Freshkon provides me with more choices (more series), I decided to go for comfort! Cause once I put on my lenses, I wear it for long hours, almost the whole day and really can't tolerate bad contacts/ eye day with so much discomfort! ><

And this brand happen to be the one that Rainie Yang endorse for!

Ok, so quite happy with my buy! And excited to receive and try on the lenses!!

Won't reveal the colour yet! So stay tunedddd~

Cute Contact Lens Holder (For travel)

So for this, I happened to chance upon it through Bobodino! They sell a mini range of contact lens holder which are really cute but I find them unsuitable for my age. Too cute that if I have 1, I seem like I'm acting cute. LOL.

And so I decided to search for more on Gmarket cause I remember Char always tell me that if you wanna get small cute special items, can try Gmarket, it's fast, easy to sign up and reliable.

So while choosing, Mavis saw a stitch one and requested to buy together. Hehe, I have yet to receive my product as well. Another thing to look forward to this week. ;) Will definitely post a picture of it as soon as i receive it!

Moving on to TW trip, so far we've done the booking of our flight. Tiger airways. Wanted jetstar but we missed the promotion period cause of me. =( Cause it took quite some time for me to get a definite answer from papa and mummy on their consent for me to go. And then there was the filling up on passport details online which was quite tedious and with poor network connections it was even worse.

In the end, Keith saved the day by booking for us using his super efficient com with good connection. THANKSSS!

And special thanks to Kennard for being so generous by lending us his Credit Card for the payment.

So just last weekend I was still doing my online research and taking down the addresses of where to go and planning a bit of the itinerary. But realise I cannot be distracted and have to study FIRST before anything else!

And we're planning to go to Char's place for the detailed planning of itinerary after exams! ^^

Went for Adam's Road Nasi Lemak on Saturday! 

Look at the rice! It's all in very long form! So special.

Definitely gonna bring Keith there 1 day to try it! ^^

初二。。

 And it just got more and more natural!

 The scenery from the 35th level is really very very niceeee~ It's like unblocked view and you get to see the whole of bishan and even get to see where M'sia is!

 And so on 初二, I went over to his place to 拜年!

Initial plan was to go over in the early afternoon around 12+ as his mother's side relatives are coming over. So his dad suggested that I pop by earlier so that I can talk to them as well. Like get to know them better?

But that morning I really felt very awful, like weak + symptoms of getting sick. Felt cold and my phlegm was already accumulating.

I knew that I was gonna fall sick but I thought I could keep it at a recoverable level.

Obviously, plan failed. :( Cause on Day 1 of CNY I just immersed in the fun and FOOD, I totally neglected my health, put it aside just so that I can enjoy myself!

I ate whatever I wanted, played exciting games with my cousins such as taboo. Shouted, screamed, laughed like no tomorrow. CNY is never awkward for me, cause I get to meet my close cousins, catch up, eat, joke, play. 

And it's just so nice to gather and play together just like childhood times although now we're mostly grown ups and some even have their kids already.

Get to play with my cousin's kids too! Seeing new baby faces every other alternate years.

Ok so continuing about my Day 2 of CNY, I went over to Keith's place at around 3+ after congee lunch at home.

Was so lazy to take the train I decided to spend on cab. =/

Reached there and hurried my way up. So his relatives were already leaving and I didn't get to talk to them much. Just self-introduction and greetings. 

Stayed on, watch some variety shows on 825 which was super hilarious!

And upon hearing my masculine voice, Keith's papa keep giving me different medicines and drink to relieve the pain and hopefully regain my original voice.

I was totally having nasal voice cause my whole nose and throat was clogged up with gooey gross phlegm!

I'm really very grateful for how much Keith's dad took care of me. Be it the medicine or advices. I'm really really thankful for that. =')

Even so, I tried some new year goodies which were very nice as recommended by the Mahs. ^^

Had nice home-cooked dinner and camwhored even more after dinner.

Hehe, I always feel so welcomed at his place. ^^

Time to sleep, enough of work for the day, need more rest to recover!
